Max
Max was about 2 when we got him. He was so excited to meet us, he jumped up on my daughter and gave her a bruise. From that moment on, he had us! We were in love. We got 16 years with him! He loved to dig, he loved to tear apart toys and blankets! He loved food, and was very motivated by it especially green beans. He had a high opinion of himself and didn't think others dogs should be allowed to in his space! He eventually made friends with the cats we had, and had a very special bond with them. So much so, the one cat we still had, Princess, passed exactly 1 week later. He was intensely loyal and a great snuggle bug. My heart hurts but he is at peace and crossed the rainbow bridge with Princess. I will miss them both.
