Jack
When we rescued Jack, also known as Jack Brown or Brownie, we could tell right away that he needed extra care and love to overcome his past. Luckily, we already had our first rescue Zoe. She was the best sister and quickly showed Jack the way and gave him confidence that helped him ease into his new life. Together they enjoyed snuggles, playing at dog parks, going on walks, riding on kayaks and a pontoon and enjoying the Northwoods. During his final year when he struggled with mobility, he loved his buggy rides around the neighborhood. And he really loved snuggles on the couch, leading to a new nickname, Mr. Potatoes. Jack was such a sweet companion. He always wanted to be by our side and he always wanted to do the right thing. He was a handsome brown guy with a heart of gold!
