Shoelace was the runt of the litter from my sister's cat in a rural area in Michigan, and was the most neurotic and skittish cat I ever had, and we loved her for it. She moved with me from Toledo to Sauk City, and was my shadow. She followed me everywhere and got me through the stress and anxiety of moving to a new place where I didn't really know anyone outside of my wife. She brought us so much joy and calmness in our home, and will be dearly missed. We love you so much and I can't wait to reunite with you on the other side when my time comes. Rest in peace.
